“UNC, NC State, and Duke Receive Funding for Joint Japanese Program”
UNC-Chapel Hill’s newspaper, the Daily Tarheel, recently spoke to TCJS Director Morgan Pitelka and Executive Committee members David Ambaras and Simon Partner about the motivation behind the creation of the Triangle Center for Japan Studies and the hope that it will “serve as an information hub for all Japan-related events in the Triangle — such as speakers, conferences and community events — and expand the Asian studies graduate programs at all three schools”.
