It has been almost one year since Japan was hit by the devastating earthquake and tsunami. Yuki Aratake (UNC) has organized the Japan Relief Benefit Concert on March 11, at 3:00pm.
The program will feature traditional Japanese music, classical music and more. In addition, there will be a speaker that went to Japan shortly after the earthquake. She will be talking about her experiences in Japan. Admission is free but a donation at the entrance would be appreciated. We are going to send all money to “Japan Society”. There will be baby sitter during the concert for small children. A reception will be provided at the end.
