The Japanese Critical Studies Group will host an informal discussion with Harry Harootunian, Visiting Professor in the Duke Program in Literature, Professor Emeritus of History and East Asian Studies, New York University, this Wednesday 6 March. The discussion will focus upon Miki Kiyoshi and chapter 6 of Professor Harootunian’s book,Overcome by Modernity.
