Japanese Critical Studies Group will host an informal discussion with Professor Michael K. Bourdaghs, Professor in Modern Japanese Literature and Department chair, East Asian Languages and Civilizations at the University of Chicago, on Wednesday 27 March. The discussion will focus upon Karatani Kojin’s The Structure of World History, which he is translating into English. All are welcome, but seating in the room is limited, so please RSVP to Takushi Odagiri (to30@duke.edu) by Monday 25 March.
 
This discussion will be followed by Prof. Bourdagh’s lecture on “Psychology, Possessive Individualism, and Natsume Soseki”, part of the Spring 2013 APSI Speaker Series.
