Chris Nelson Elected New Director of TCJS

Please welcome Chris Nelson, Associate Professor of Anthropology at UNC, as the new director of the Triangle Center for Japanese Studies! Former director Morgan Pitelka has stepped down to focus on his new position as director of the Carolina Asia Center at UNC.
Jennifer Smith, Associate Professor of Linguistics, will replace Nelson as the UNC representative on the TCJS Executive Committee.
